Atmosphere
Set in the trendy new area of Uptown Broadway, 4580 is a great mix of casual urban sophistication. Chocolate brown and burnt orange colored walls, set off the stack stone walls in the intimate dining room, as well as create a warm and sexy atmosphere in the bar area. The restaurant and bar are surrounded by walls of windows on three sides, offering guests stunning views of the foothills and beyond.
People
4580 is owned and operated by Martin and Susan Hammer. Martin, the manager at the Flagstaff House for nine years in responsible for the detail oriented service that each guest receives when they visit 4580. It is not uncommon for Martin to stop by your table to introduce himself and to make sure you are enjoying your experiences.
Executive Chef Marcus McCoy has close to 20 years of culinary experience, gleaned from cooking his way all along the east coast, owning two restaurants in Upstate New York, as well as, his position as Chef de Cuisine of One Caroline Street Bistro in Saratoga Springs, NY, the Metropolitan Urban Restaurant and Nightclub in Colorado Springs, CO and Sunflower Restaurant in Boulder, CO, Chef McCoy brings his distinct style to 4580.
Chef McCoy's rustic yet elegant dishes are distinctly approachable, focusing on the freshest, seasonal ingredients and clean flavors. "His food fits perfectly at 4580," says owner Martin Hammer, "light, simple dishes bursting with flavor" Joining Chef McCoy is Sous Chef Andrea Nordby. Together, Marcus and Andrea create magic in the 4580 kitchen.
